I’ve regularly used the phrase “psychic vampire,” or “energy vampire” to describe a person who extracts energy from others with the intention to survive in their world. Now we have all heard of vampires, who feed on the blood of others. The psychic vampire feeds on the energy of others. Nonetheless it isn’t normally a conscious endeavor.

Chances are you’ll enter the interaction or conversation feeling good about something and during the course of the dialog you might be transformed into feeling bad. For instance: Say you just acquired a big promotion at work and you are really excited. You go house from work and you’re high with excitement and share the great news with your partner. He listens to you talk about your promotion after which says something like “Good for you! Hey did you take my blue water bottle this morning?”
O.K. his words weren’t obviously cruel or condemning. He even said “good for you!” However by some means you are feeling that you haven’t been heard and that he would not really share in your excitement. In reality it seems more that he could care less. You are feeling a plummet in your energy and immediately you aren’t feeling very excited anymore. You could respond by saying “No I have not seen your blue bottle!” And…he goes on to give attention to the bottle asking you in case you are positive you didn’t take it because you’ve gotten a habit of taking his stuff, etc.
The celebration of your promotion at work was cut very short. Actually if you wish to celebrate at all you will need to call a friend who truly cares about you and your good news. But by now chances are you’ll not feel a lot like celebrating. It’s possible you’ll really feel that your promotion really isn’t that big of a deal after all. Especially because the person closest to you does not seem to think it is.
Everytime you really feel a sudden plummet of your energy whether from a pal, an acquaintance, a co-worker or a partner or partner, chances are you’ll be dealing with a psychic energy vampire.
A psychic vampire just isn’t essentially a psychic individual however rather somebody who preys on the psychic energy area round a person.
I am very sensitive and read energy quite easily now. Once I ask myself what the intention of these individuals could be I see they are looking for admiration, approval, positive feedback, try to sell me something or get me to imagine something. If I start to feel aggravated, drained, or tired, I instantly excuse myself and depart the conversation.
In healthy relationships we feed each other. We share energy. One in every of us is perhaps feeling down and the other can encourage us and say things to help us which can convey us up. Different times we are the ones serving to and encouraging the other. It is a give and take energy exchange that is mutually beneficial. However with energy vampires, there isn’t any give and take, only take. They don’t have any energy in their own reserves to give.
A psychic vampire or energy vampire is an emotionally and spiritually depleted individual. He doesn’t have an inside life and isn’t spiritually linked to life. He has spent his life extracting energy from the outside instead of learning find out how to go within and cultivate his own internal garden.
Think of the human body and its want for vitamins and minerals. Our our bodies have the ability to fabricate most of what we want from within if given the suitable nutrients and building blocks. But let’s say an individual eats nothing but junk food after which takes a lot of vitamins. He’s counting on this exterior substance to feed him instead of feeding his body healthy substances that build his body on a mobile level. If he truly wished to be healthy he would be taught that he needed to cleanse out all of the toxins which have been accumulating from years of bad consuming after which start taking in high nutrient dense meals to rebuild his body.
