Information technology group BrightStar today said it has acquired Integrated Systems Consulting, a provider of SAP consulting services.
Pleasanton, California-based BrightStar said that privately held Integrated Systems has experience in leading and completing SAP, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software maker, implementations for midsize to large-size businesses. Integrated Systems’ customers include Microsoft, Arch Chemicals, and the Tessenderlo Group along with other companies in the high tech, chemical, and manufacturing industries.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
“Integrated Systems brings a very profitable and experienced business group to BrightStar’s respected ERP practice,” BrightStar’s chief executive Mike Ober said in a statement. “Their experience will help us continue to provide our customers with rapid design and implementation of SAP’s R/3 business solutions while also fueling BrightStar’s continued growth and profitability.” Revenue for Integrated Systems in 1999 is expected to reach $3.5 million, BrightStar said.
BrightStar, which employs more than 900 workers in offices worldwide, handles implementations of ERP and Web-based services and software, provides onsite application support services, and offers complete application hosting services at its data centers.
In February, BrightStar announced that it had reorganized and integrated its seven subsidiaries into a single organization to focus on both ERP and Web services, such as enterprise applications, Web applications, and hosted applications.
