Additionally, since different areas of science make use of Chemistry concepts, it is a requirement in JC that science-streamed students take Chemistry on high of their selection of Physics or Biology. Students can select the level of Chemistry they wish to take, specifically an elective degree at H1, a full subject at H2, or an advanced course at H3. Most students will take either H1 or H2 Chemistry relying on their proficiency. If a student scores effectively in H2 Chemistry at the tip of JC1, they could then be supplied the choice of H3 Chemistry, to be taken concurrently with H2 Chemistry. H3 Chemistry is very challenging as a result of students who decide it up will only do so at the start of JC2, leaving them a mere 10 months or less to grasp the fabric. As such, most college students find themselves turning to JC Chemistry tuition to sustain the pace.
