Megan Barton Hanson has slammed an ex-boyfriend who ‘slut-shamed’ her for ‘selling her knickers for £200 and going on dates with lads for a job’.
The Love Island star, 26, posted a snippet of the message to her Instagram story on Monday and urged her 1.7million followers not to stand for belittling abuse.
The former stripper said the former flame in question blamed the demise of their relationship on her working in the sex industry, despite knowing what she did for work when they met.

The anonymous message read: ‘Then you was going on dates with lads for a job, among us auto impostor selling your knickers for £200 and the liking.’
Megan wrote: ‘So this is part of a paragraph someone I was dating used against me in the past.
‘Slut shaming me and blaming partly why we ended on me working in the sex industry.
‘At 20 this would have killed me. Thinking that someone I loved judged me like this. But the truth is it says more about them.’

The TV personality added: ‘Don’t let anyone belittle you for using your femininity to get that dollar especially when they met you knowing your line of work!’
Megan reflected on her entrepreneurial skills for making a lot of cash from selling ‘£5 panties’.
She joked: ‘My god if you don’t rate someone for being able to sell their £5 panties for £200. I don’t want you in my life.’
In a separate Instagram story, Megan reached out to her followers to ask on a poll if they have been shamed for working in the sex industry.

She penned: ‘If you’ve worked in the industry (anything from an OnlyFans account to hostessing in a bar has someone used your job against you when you breakup?! Naaaaaat cute!’
‘Feeling like this a great topic for one of my podcast eps! Would love to have a couple on that work in the sex industry either together or separately so many questions,’ Megan added.
